DML (2011) Limited is a private locally owned company. Formerly operating as Doug Miller Limited and prior to that as John Henderson Limited we can offer you forty years of experience and continuity of service to the Manawatu and surrounding areas.

We currently employ a team of over 30 highly skilled and dedicated professional people including accounts/administration staff, contract management, painters, licensed asbestos removers, apprentices and brush hands who are committed to providing a high standard of workmanship and customer service. 80% of our painting staff are qualified tradespeople and between them have many, many years of experience in the painting and decorating trade. All our staff are current site safe card holders and we have three staff who are currently certified asbestos removers.
We are a:

• Registered Painting Contractor with the NZ Painting Contractors Association.
• Member of the Manawatu Master Painters Association.
• Member of the New Zealand Demolition & Asbestos Association.
• Member of Site Safe.
• ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices accredited. (Primary Level).

We are totally committed to continuing excellence in the future by training apprentices and currently we have four apprentices at various stages of their apprenticeship. We are also committed to on-going training within the industry and send our employees on trade related courses such as Site Safe, Lead Paint Removal, Specialist Finishes Application, Spray Coatings, Intumescent Spray Coatings, Heights & Harness Safety and First Aid training.

Some contracts we have been involved in include MSS Ohakea a Star 5 Green contract. The Globe, NZ Pharmaceuticals, Ranfurly Retirement Village in Feilding, Copthorne Hotel refurbishment and various contracts at Massey University such as Tiritea House, plus new and existing housing.
